Are these bulbs blue?
Yes. MTEC Cosmos Blue bulbs bulbs give off a white-ish blue light output. The light output is about 60% white and 40% blue.

Will these bulbs melt my stock harness?
No. MTEC 2X bulbs have a stock wattage draw so they don't create any increase in heat over your stock bulbs. Heavy duty harnesses are available for most bulb sizes however they are not required.
